What is the different between modification and homebrew.

Modification is when you change something on commercial amateur radio equipment, sucks as improvement of audio from microphone or speaker, change the frequency range or find some improvement that the manufacture not has made on the equipment.

Homebrew is a construction that you have made from the beginning, e.g. if you have create an antenna you have maybe found some drawing in a book and then you have built this antenna. It could also be that you have found a PA module and then create Power Amplifier, og you could have built a power supply.

For both types it is important that you provide as much material that it is possible for other to follow the article and then have success with the article. It is very good always to provide some picture(s), and if it is a construction then also provide some schematic and PCB layouts.
